The Grand Geneva Golf Club was awarded the Conde Nast Traveler's 2012 Readers Poll for Top 10 Northern U.S. Golf Resorts. There are 3 sets of tees on the Brute Course that play to distances and slopes that measure 7085 yards/136 slope, 6554 yards/131 slope and 5244 yards/129 slope from the forward sets. There are 68 strategically placed sand bunkers and water hazards come into play on 6 holes.

Designed by Bruce Harris, the Brute is the tougher of the two courses on property - golfers will have to bring their "A" game to score well here. The hilly tree lined terrain features sloping fairways punctuated by large sand traps and sculpted water hazards that added aesthetic beauty as well as challenge. Many tee boxes are elevated and most of the green complexes are raised. Land in regulation and good scores can be had as the putting surfaces are only mildly sloping.

Rates in 2012 topped out at around $155 prime with great spring and fall pricing.
