Eaglewood Golf Club is the centerpiece of the Eaglewood Resort & Spa - a full service resort located in Itasca, northwest of downtown Chicago. The property boasts a variety off

The golf facilities include an 18-hole championship golf course, hitting nets for warming up, short game area with sand bunker plus spacious putting green. A pro shop and
restaurant bar are also part of the clubhouse complex.
The golf course is beautifully tree lined, with ample landing zones off the tee but with plentiful, deep sand bunkers awaiting off-line shots. The sand traps are definitely a strong
and memorable feature of the layout, as the 65 sculpted bunkers provide aesthetic beauty, as well as challenge. Water hazards also play a role, as they are in play (though mostly
on the perimeter) on 8 holes.
There are 3 sets of tee boxes that play to distances and slopes measuring 017 yards/115 slope, 5410 yards/112 slope and 5056 yards with a slope of 118 for ladies hitting from
the forward tees. This is a rather short layout, and as the slope ratings indicate, is a pleasant resort experience for all levels of golfers.
On course yardages are posted on sprinkler heads that are measured to the center of the green, and 100, 150 and 200 yard blocks on the fairways. Color coded flags indicate the
day's front, middle or back hole locations.
